Global spending growth on mobile hardware, software and services will gradually slow by 2021, when it will reach $1.72 trillion, according an estimate by researcher IDC. The growth rate for its 2016-2021 forecast period will be 2.7 percent annually, which shows a slowing from this year’s rate of 4.3 percent to $1.58 trillion from 2016.
